1. About this service

AU Citizenship Test is a free, independent educational platform designed to help people prepare for the Australian citizenship test. By using this website or mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Important disclaimer: This platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Australian Government or the Department of Home Affairs. Practice questions are not official test questions. Always refer to homeaffairs.gov.au for official information.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
  • You must provide accurate information when registering
  • One account per person — do not share accounts
  • You may delete your account at any time via your profile settings
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer or systematically extract content from the platform
  • Use automated tools to create accounts or interact with the service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its servers
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity

5. Accuracy of content

We make every effort to ensure our practice questions and citizenship guide are accurate and up to date. However, laws and government policies change. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of any content. Always verify important information with official government sources before relying on it for your citizenship application.

6. Intellectual property

All content on this platform — including practice questions, study guides, design and code — is owned by or licensed to AU Citizenship Test. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our written permission. Study guide content is based on the official “Our Common Bond” booklet published by the Department of Home Affairs and is used for educational purposes only.

7. Paid app features

The web platform is free to use. The mobile app offers a 7-day free trial followed by a subscription ($7.99/month) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($14.99). Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. We do not store payment card details. Refund requests must be made through the relevant app store.

8. Limitation of liability

AU Citizenship Test is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including — but not limited to — reliance on practice questions, the outcome of your citizenship application, or data loss. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed AUD $100.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the service for maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control without prior notice.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be indicated by an updated date at the top of this page.
